〇駅舎出入口から改札口までは段差はありませんが、札幌方面・岩見沢方面ホームともに列車乗降のためには、階段を昇り降りする必要があります。また、岩見沢方面ホームの階段までには函館線上下線を跨ぐ旅客通路を渡る（段差＝３ｃｍ～５ｃｍ程度）必要があります。
〇係員のお手伝いを希望される場合、近隣駅から係員の手配等が必要になりますので、ご利用がお決まりになりましたら予めご連絡いただきますようご協力をお願いいたします。なお、係員の手配がつかない場合、希望される列車のお時間や利用駅の変更等をご相談させていただくことがございます。
